Mission
Previously known as “Il Ceppo”, PlasmaLife ltd is a private company founded in 1996 by DMV Raffaello Ciampoli with the goal of studying and applying immunoprophylaxis and immunotherapy in the veterinary medicine field.
To this end, special attention was paid to the production of an equine plasma with controlled quality and proven efficacy to combat widespread neonatal pathologies of foals due to hypogammaglobulinemia.
Then focusing on many farmers’ serious problem such as the treatment of neonatal diarrhea in calves, thanks to years of studies, the production of bovine plasma begins to guarantee the best treatment for this type of pathology.
With a team composed mostly of veterinarians and experts in the pharmaceutical field, Plasmalife’s goal will always remain the constant research and development of techniques for the use and improvement of animal plasma, to guarantee veterinarians and breeders high quality, safe and effective medial products.
Together with the concept of animal health and welfare, PlasmaLife also reconciles its respect for the environment in its energy management policy: this happens above all thanks to a photovoltaic system that makes the company self-sufficient from an energy point of view, thus eliminating its carbon footprint derived from production activities.
